PE-backed insurance organization seeking an Accounting Director to support accounting and financial reporting across a growing multi-entity platform. This role will partner closely with the Controller and CFO to oversee close activities, reporting, intercompany accounting, acquisitions, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany accounting Support financial reporting and consolidated reporting activities Assist with acquisition integrations and accounting projects Improve processes, controls, and accounting procedures Partner with leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives Qualifications 7+ years of accounting experience CPA preferred Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge Experience with multi-entity environments and ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) Insurance, MGA, or related industry experience highly preferred M&A or acquisition integration experience is a plus
