Responsibilities include:

• Lead the accounting and financial reporting for a large real estate portfolio.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review lease transactions, property-level accounting, and related account reconciliations.
• Partner closely with Acquisitions, Asset Management, Treasury, FP& A, Legal, and Financial Reporting teams.
• Support investments, dispositions, financing activities, and other strategic transactions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, controls, and efficiencies across the accounting function.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Significant accounting experience within commercial real estate, REITs, lease accounting, or related industries.
• Prior leadership experience with responsibility for managing and developing accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and complex lease accounting concepts.
• Experience in a public company, REIT, or large corporate accounting environment is highly desirable.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to improve processes, drive results, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
