Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Account Director serves as a strategic business leader responsible for managing and growing enterprise retailer partnerships across Inmar's incentive, media and marketing solutions portfolio. This role is focused on driving measurable client outcomes across a retailer portfolio, expanding strategic relationships, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring exceptional execution across complex cross-functional initiatives. It includes working closely with Customer Success colleagues who execute the work and help drive implementation, adoption and the maturity model for our solutions. Seamless collaboration with these teams and cross-functional customer-facing leaders (incentives, media, loyalty and data) will be key. The ideal candidate combines deep retail, media, shopper marketing and CPG expertise with strong consultative selling, client leadership, and collaborative team-based business development capabilities.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with a portfolio of retailers
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor across assigned retailer accounts, leveraging team and SME experts and bringing out the best in our teams.
- Drive revenue growth, retention, and account expansion
- Lead quarterly and annual business planning and long-term account strategy development
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of integrated marketing programs
- Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to executive stakeholders
- Work with internal team to monitor campaign performance and drive optimization recommendations
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvemen t
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in account management, retail media, digital marketing, shopper marketing, CPG, agency, or related industries
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level client relationships and demonstrating "land and expand" growth with retailers
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, writing and consultative selling skills and the ability to navigate retailer enterprises
Preferred:
- Experience working with Retail Media Networks (RMNs)
- Applicable knowledge and experience of leading cross-functional teams in media, loyalty, audience targeting, and measurement solutions
- Experience with Salesforce for account management and reporting What Success Looks Like
