Duties Develop and maintain complex financial projection models to support strategic planning and forecasting activities. Prepare detailed financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Conduct variance analysis reporting to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for cost optimization or revenue enhancement. Perform comprehensive profit & loss analysis, providing actionable insights to management for operational improvements. Oversee corporate accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Lead SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance efforts by implementing internal controls and conducting audits as required. Utilize financial reporting software and business intelligence tools to interpret data, generate reports, and support regulatory reporting requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, financial planning, pricing strategies, and investment evaluations. Support public accounting audits by preparing documentation and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Engage in strategic planning initiatives by providing quantitative analysis and financial insights that influence long-term business goals. Skills Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting standards. Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and technical accounting principles. Proven experience in financial model development and financial forecasting analysis. Proficiency with financial reporting software, Excel data analysis tools, and business intelligence platforms. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Advanced data analysis skills combined with a solid understanding of finance concepts such as cost accounting, pricing, investment appraisal, and profit & loss management. Demonstrated ability in variance analysis reporting, financial statement interpretation, and organizational skills necessary for effective decision-making. Experience working within corporate finance environments with a focus on budgeting, strategic planning, and financial management. Strong communication skills for clear financial report writing and presentation of findings to stakeholders.
