ANALYST IN RANCHO CORDOVA, CA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Rancho Cordova, California. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Department with daily accounting, reporting, invoice processing, payroll, purchasing, and administrative activities. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, college coursework in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $22/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Full time hours Located in Rancho Cordova, California Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and provide daily volume reports, weekly reports, and monthly reports to the Accounting Analyst Supervisor Monitor Distribution Center purchasing activities to ensure established purchase order procedures are followed Complete three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices as part of the invoice payment process Order office supplies and products for the Distribution Center and serve as the primary point of contact for related vendors Facilitate the standardization of Distribution Center operational reports in accordance with Administrative Office directives and reporting requirements Review staffing agency invoices for accuracy and proper documentation Work directly with the Accounting Analyst Supervisor, Operations Administrative Manager, and all levels of Distribution Center management Complete extensive data entry projects accurately and within established deadlines Support payroll-related functions using Paychex software Perform other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field College coursework in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred Previous payroll experience is required Experience using Paychex payroll software is preferred Experience working within a Distribution Center or similar operational environment is beneficial Strong computer and data-entry skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related business software Ability to work effectively with accounting, payroll, reporting, and data-management systems Ability to interact professionally with employees and management at all levels of the organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with and support a diverse workforce Strong organizational and time-management skills Knowledge of Distribution Center operations Strong sense of teamwork and ability to collaborate across departments Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adhere to strict deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial and operational information Ability to lift up to 10 pounds Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to climb stairs as required Ability to work within a Distribution Center environment -- ABOUT
