Job Description

Finance Coordinator:
Specializing in Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable Job Summary Cowboy's Roofing is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable & Financing Specialist to support our daily financial operations. This position is responsible for processing accounts payable, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, and coordinating customer financing from application through funding. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working with financial information, and able to follow transactions through completion. Experience in the roofing or construction industry is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable Review, enter, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time. Match invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation. Route invoices for approval and prepare checks or electronic payments. Maintain accurate vendor records, W-9s, and payment information. Reconcile vendor statements and research billing or payment discrepancies. Record credit card and expense transactions. Assist with bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations. Maintain organized digital and physical financial records. Assist with month-end closing, account review, and requested reports. Communicate professionally with vendors regarding invoices, credits, and payment status. Protect confidential company, customer, and financial information. Customer Financing Assist customers with available financing options and application procedures. Submit and monitor financing applications through approved lender portals. Track applications from submission through approval, project completion, and funding. Follow up on pending applications, missing documents, stipulations, and funding delays. Coordinate with customers, project coordinators, sales representatives, and lenders. Verify that required contracts, completion documents, and customer authorizations are received. Request funding once all lender and project requirements have been satisfied. Reconcile financed project payments against customer accounts and company records. Maintain an accurate financing tracker and provide regular status updates to management. Escalate unresolved financing or funding issues promptly. Qualifications At least two years of bookkeeping, accounts payable, or related financial experience preferred. Experience handling customer financing or working with lender portals is preferred. Roofing or construction industry experience is a plus but not required. Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts payable procedures. Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong data-entry and recordkeeping skills. Ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. High school diploma or equivalent required; bookkeeping or accounting coursework is a plus. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
