Senior Financial Analyst Summary The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, providing financial insights that help improve profitability, operational performance, and long-term decision making. This individual will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, KPI development, and executive reporting while partnering closely with leaders across multiple business functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an analytical environment and enjoys translating financial information into actionable business recommendations. Senior Financial Analyst Primary Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Develop financial models supporting strategic initiatives and operational decisions. Analyze monthly financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities. Create executive dashboards and KPI reporting packages. Partner with operations, sales, service, and leadership teams to improve financial performance. Perform profitability analysis by business unit, customer, product line, and location. Build scenario models and sensitivity analyses to support strategic planning. Identify operational efficiencies and provide recommendations to improve profitability. Support long-range financial planning and growth initiatives. Prepare presentations and financial reporting for executive leadership. Improve financial reporting processes through automation and enhanced reporting tools. Assist leadership with special projects, acquisitions, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed. Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 4+ years of FP&A, Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting. Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial leaders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills. Senior Financial Analyst Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing, distribution, equipment, construction, or industrial industry experience. Experience supporting operational leadership. Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools. #
