Job Description

Experteer Overview As Portfolio Optimization Analyst at Fisher Investments, you help design, calibrate, and monitor systems that drive firm-wide trade order generation within the Portfolio Management Group. You work closely with IT, IPC, and PMG leadership to ensure robust, scalable optimization solutions that support client goals and reduce trade execution risk. You analyze data and guide teams to deliver innovative technologies that enhance portfolio implementation. This role offers impact across cross-functional partners and a path to scale optimization capabilities.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Support portfolio management decisions through rigorous testing and quantitative analysis of trade order data
  • Collaborate with IT, Portfolio Implementation leadership and the IPC to ensure quality of technology solutions for trade order generation
  • Assist development and testing of new portfolio management technologies
  • Partner with internal groups to scale optimization analyses and implement training and infrastructure
  • Work with client services to address complex client scenarios via education and custom optimization solutions
  • Guide and motivate team members to foster accountability and collaboration
  • Analyze optimization data to identify root causes and support new optimization technologies
  • Develop scalable infrastructure for optimization from design to implementation
  • Support high AUM initiatives and internal training programs
  • Collaborate with CRD/TPS and Axioma Direct systems Tasks
  • 3+ years of experience in the field and/or with optimization solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management, internal clients, and other departments
  • Experience with change management and independent problem solving
  • Master's Degree in Financial Engineering or similar field of study Key requirements
