The purpose of this position is to provide project management, consulting, reporting, and accounting services for approved strategic initiatives and process improvements in Corporate Accounting. The impact this position has on Publix is achieving the projected return on investments (ROI) for strategic initiatives and enabling process efficiencies to appropriately scale accounting operations to minimize costs as Publix grows.

Support the execution of strategic initiatives and process improvements by contributing accounting expertise, coordinating project activities, and ensuring solutions are implemented effectively and aligned with business and system requirements.

Design and execute test plans to validate system functionality, data integrity and performance. Evaluate existing processes and systems, identify opportunities for innovation, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy. Plan, organize, and manage projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and resources are effectively managed.
