We are seeking a highly skilled and committed professional to play a pivotal role in executing the next phase of our growth strategy in the U.S. Position Overview The Real Estate Asset Manager will oversee and manage a real estate residential property portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the portfolio's value and performance by developing and implementing strategic asset management plans. As a Real Estate Asset Manager, you will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including conducting financial analysis and overseeing property management, leasing, and operational performance to maximize asset value and mitigate property-level risks. Your tasks Oversee the asset management and operating performance of a diverse portfolio of residential properties. Develop and execute asset-level business plans and comprehensive asset management strategies aligned with the company's investment objectives and return targets to maximize income, enhance asset value, and reduce operating expenses. Monitor property performance, market trends, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational improvements, and value enhancement. Conduct market research and evaluate opportunities for property upgrades, renovations, repositioning, and other value-add initiatives. Perform financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, cash flow analysis, variance analysis, and return on investment evaluations. Prepare and present financial analyses and performance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and strategic initiatives. Coordinate quarterly and annual asset reporting, including investor reporting, in partnership with accounting and finance teams. Manage relationships with property management teams, leasing teams, brokers, and third-party service providers to ensure operational excellence and achievement of business plan objectives. Lead leasing and lease administration activities, including lease negotiations, renewals, and rent increase strategies, in collaboration with property management. Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, legal, and company standards. Assess and mitigate operational, financial, legal, and insurance-related risks across the portfolio. Collaborate with acquisitions and development teams during acquisitions, lease-up, stabilization, and asset transition phases. Support acquisitions through feasibility analyses, property valuations, due diligence, and real estate transaction activities. Lead the annual property valuation process in coordination with external appraisers. Partner with senior management and property management teams to execute refinancing and disposition strategies for portfolio assets. Your qualifications Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of institutional asset management experience with emphasis on the multifamily sector. In-depth knowledge of real estate investment, property management, and asset valuation. Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Excellent understanding of market trends, rental rates, and economic factors affecting real estate. Familiarity with property management software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CCIM, CFA) are a plus.
