Financial Analyst

A global market leader in the marine industry is seeking a passionate, hands-on Financial Analyst to join their manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be involved in the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities for a facility. The ideal candidate is result-driven, organized, and possesses a defined interest in enhancing processes to support the business and its stakeholders.

salary:

$27 - $36 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4

PMeducation:

BachelorsResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities The duties are split between core financial accounting and specific pricing administration:

Accounting & Finance Reporting:

Updating daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and preparing ad-hoc analysis for various departments.

Month-End:

Assisting with accruals, provisions, and intercompany invoicing.

Analysis:

Performing P&L cost and variance analysis , balance sheet reconciliations , and inventory analysis (including scrap and obsolescence)

Planning:

Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

System Oversight:

Reviewing transactions within BPCS and D365 systems.

Pricing Administration Data Entry:

Managing pricing for new products and establishing discounts for new customer accounts.

Sales Tracking:

Compiling monthly sales reports and tracking annual customer discount adjustments based on a performance matrix.

Seasonal Support:

Generating and segregating pricing sheets for OEM and Aftermarket segments during pricing season.
