Overview of Position:
Senior staff position within North American headquarters responsible to support FP&A Manager and Director of Accounting on a variety key projects. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including: (Benefits may vary depending on location policy.)
  • Vacation:
    minimum of two (2) weeks
  • Sick days: 5 days
  • Holidays:
    12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
  • Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Salary range $84,000
  • 105,000 annually.
Responsibilities:
Primary support for key internal topic of insurance and insured claims estimates Work with actuary and risk department to support valuation of significant estimates related to insured claims Create and maintain pricing model related to insured claims and insurance premiums Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis. Assist in preparation of financial reporting process and monthly financial reporting review package Works on complex finance topics as needed to support internal team. Helps to build strong internal process and simplify complicated topics to hand back over to accounting team. Work with Paris headquarter office to help answer financial reporting questions and pricing questions Support FP&A projects related to internal reporting Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Licensing and Certifications:
Certified Public Accounting preferred
Education:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
Experience preferred:
3+ years of relevant experience preferred. Public audit experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting including accounting theory and principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles required Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel Good written and oral communication skills Travel requirement outside of immediate area (as a percent)
