Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to support the Finance Manager with accounting and financial activities at a manufacturing facility. This position will work closely with plant and corporate teams to analyze financial data, support business decisions, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM The Senior Finance Analyst will also provide backup support to the Finance Manager when needed. Key Responsibilities Assist with maintaining and administering internal financial controls and SOX controls. Support the standard cost process for materials, labor, and overhead. Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly accounting close. Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Work with the Inventory Manager to ensure accurate material transactions and inventory valuation. Assist with physical inventories and reconcile perpetual inventory records to the general ledger. Collaborate with other departments to provide accounting and reporting guidance. Prepare financial data and analysis using QAD and other systems . Assist with monthly forecasts and annual budgeting. Support cost studies, special projects, and new business evaluations. Analyze financial information and provide reports and recommendations related to cost reduction and profitability improvements. Support internal and external audit requests. Track capital project spending and capitalization. Perform additional accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience working with an ERP system Strong knowledge of accounting and financial analysis Cost accounting experience preferred Strong Excel skills Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills Strong business acumen and attention to detail Preferred Systems & Knowledge Experience or familiarity with: QAD / MFG-Pro Agile
