Job Description

Overview An automotive manufacturing plant is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support all areas of plant accounting. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you'll partner with plant and corporate teams to analyze and present the data behind sound business decisions, and serve as backup when the Finance Manager is unavailable. What You'll Do Coordinate and maintain internal financial controls and SOX controls Support the standard cost process for material, labor, and overhead, including cost roll updates in production Prepare standard and miscellaneous journal entries for monthly close Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Partner with the inventory manager on materials transactions and inventory valuation Support physical inventories and reconcile perpetual inventory to the general ledger Provide accounting and reporting guidance across teams, using QAD and other systems for internal and external reporting Assist with monthly forecasts and the annual budget Support special projects, cost studies, and new business evaluations with recommendations that drive cost reductions and profit improvement Support internal and external audit data requests Track capital project spending and capitalization What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment ERP experience; strong skills in Excel, QAD, and MFG/Pro Working knowledge of SOX and internal controls Strong business acumen, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills High ethical standards and sound judgment Nice to Have Cost accounting background Familiarity with Agile PLM and IPM systems Awareness of
ISO 9001, IATF
16949, and
ISO 14001
standards Experience with customer-specific requirements in automotive manufacturing
Details Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM 100% onsite No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship available
Pay:
From $31.00 per hour
