full-time Cost Accounting Analyst II- Philadelphia, PA A global, established company is adding a Cost Accounting Analyst II to its Plant Operations / Cost Accounting team. They're specifically targeting candidates with a Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Financial Analyst background who want to take on a highly operational finance role.

Responsibilities:

Perform monthly cost and variance analysis across Plant Operations Analyze COGS, manufacturing variances, inventory variances, and operational costs Support month-end close, accruals, and cost accounting reporting Monitor inventory, material costs, goods receipts, and cycle counts Partner with Operations, Materials, Procurement, and cost center owners to understand cost drivers and variances Support budgeting and forecasting for plant operations Utilize SAP and Excel for cost center, inventory, and financial analysis Identify opportunities to improve cost visibility, reporting, and financial processes What we're looking for: 2+ years of Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance experience Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred Public accounting candidates with significant manufacturing clients also encouraged Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong SAP and Excel skills
