Job Description

Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, developing forecasts, and providing insights to support strategic business decisions. This role partners with management and cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and improve profitability and operational efficiency. Work closely with the Sales Team to provide insights into customer performance and opportunities. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis of sales volume, pricing, and gross margins to assess customer profitability and support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with sales and leadership teams to develop and deploy reporting that will support the sales strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive costing models to support pricing strategies, improve profitability, and ensure competitive market positioning.
  • Assist with creation of forecasts and annual operation plans as needed.
Develop and deploy key performance indicators (KPIs) in Sales and Operations and monitor them to provide actionable recommendations. Support month-end and year-end close activities by analyzing financial results. Calculate monthly rebates and sales commission. Evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Prepare presentations and reports for senior management. Collaborate with accounting, operations, sales, and other departments to support financial and strategic objectives. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Participate in special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analyses. Assist with ad hoc date-to-day activities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments, support colleagues, and contribute to achieving business goals in a fast-paced environment.
1-5 years previous financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment strongly (Preferred) Prior experience implementing BI solutions (preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Must have BI experience. Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
