Trade Marketing & Sales Analyst Location:
Oriskany, NY Schedule:
8am - 4:30pm Pay rate: $27.88 per hour About the Role A growing consumer products company is seeking Insights Analyst - Trade Marketing & Sales to support Sales and Trade Marketing through data analysis, reporting, and actionable business insights. This role will analyze customer, sales, category, pricing, market, and promotional data to identify opportunities and help drive revenue, profitability, market share, and brand growth. The position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Analyze sales, customer, category, market, pricing, and promotional data. Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and analytical tools. Support customer presentations, account reviews, and business planning. Evaluate promotional programs, trade spending, and ROI. Monitor market, category, consumer, and competitive trends. Support product launches, promotional initiatives, and trade marketing planning. Maintain accurate customer, pricing, promotional, and sales data. Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to support business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in sales analytics, trade marketing, category management, marketing analytics, or a related commercial function preferred. Experience within consumer packaged goods, retail, or a fast-paced commercial environment is a plus. Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint proficiency. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Consumer products, retail, or CPG experience is a plus.
