Job Description:
My growing client is seeking a Junior Treasury & Investments Analyst to support a busy Treasury & Investments team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance or accounting professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in gaining broader treasury and financial operations experience.
Must have the following:
Some relevant experience in treasury, accounting, finance, payment processing, accounts payable, cash management, or financial operations Hands-on experience processing or supporting financial transactions and payments Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts Intermediate Excel skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial information Ability to manage multiple priorities and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information Organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Strongly preferred: Approximately 2 years of related experience; however, strong candidates with less experience will be considered QuickBooks experience; comparable accounting-system experience is acceptable and will be considered Associate degree or equivalent Nice to have: Aderant experience Previous treasury or cash-management experience Exposure to investment operations, nonprofit accounting, capital calls, distributions, or Schedule K-1s Responsibilities The majority of this position will focus on treasury support, payment processing, and administrative responsibilities, with additional exposure to investment and accounting activities. Process payments, including payroll-related payments, reimbursements, credit card activity, checks, wires, and ACH transactions. Prepare check requests and support accurate and timely cash movements. Assist with treasury and cash-management activities. Record financial transactions and assist with general ledger activity and bank reconciliations. Support financial forecasts and funding analysis. Assist with annual 1099 preparation and other financial and tax documentation. Support tax and audit professionals working with nonprofit and investment-related entities. Assist with trades and cash movements associated with benefit plans. Prepare and maintain financial reports, correspondence, tax documents, and related records. Track and distribute bank statements, Schedule K-1s, investor information, and other financial reports. Maintain accurate partner, investor, address, and distribution information in internal systems. Communicate with external investment managers regarding reports, capital calls, distributions, and taxable income information. Coordinate meetings and provide day-to-day administrative support for the Treasury & Investments team. Respond professionally to requests from internal and external stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality. Manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Required / Core
