Commercial Credit Analyst Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Commercial Credit Analyst is responsible for analyzing lending requests and recommending lending decisions based on the credit union's lending strategy and adhering to policies and applicable regulations, while providing an excellent experience to credit union members.Essential Responsibilities:
Enter borrower and guarantor financials into processing system using solid financial analytical skills and understanding of commercial loan cash flow analysis Collaborate with lenders to prepare credit approval memos for both new and renewed loans Work closely with the commercial team to gather necessary documentation for annual loan reviews and prepare review memos for management Complete loan modification request on existing commercial loans Review current industry trends, commercial lending products, and issues specific to collateral to determine the best underwriting guidelines Knowledge of and adherence to required federal and state regulations Perform other duties as necessary to support the team.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 2 to 3 years of commercial underwriting experience requiredPreferred Formal Credit Underwriting Training or Certificate Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
