Cost Accounting Analyst Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Analyst to support financial reporting and cost analysis within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will partner with operations and finance teams to deliver accurate inventory and product cost reporting, identify opportunities for process improvements, and provide meaningful insights that support informed business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. This role is fully on-site in Clackamas, Oregon. Cost Accounting Analyst Responsibilities Analyze inventory, product costs, and gross margins while preparing accurate financial and operational reports. Perform cost analysis for materials, labor, overhead, work-in-progress, and manufacturing variances to support business performance. Maintain inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory valuation activities. Track labor costs, review production timesheets, and support manufacturing cost reporting and operational KPIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve costing processes, reporting accuracy, and financial controls. Cost Accounting Analyst Qualifications Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field. 2+ years of inventory and cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with bills of materials (BOMs), inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis; SAP experience preferred, ERP experience required. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
Salary:
