ABEC's products include process and equipment engineering/consulting services, comprehensive site services, and stainless steel and single use bioprocess equipment, including bioreactors and fermenters, filtration and chromatography systems, prep and hold systems, and cleaning/sterilization systems.
Position Summary:
The Finance Intern will support the Finance team through a combination of project-based assignments and day-to-day financial activities. This internship provides exposure to financial operations, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The intern will contribute to departmental goals by assisting with routine finance tasks while also leading or supporting up to three meaningful projects designed to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, or overall financial processes. Preferred Skills Experience working with financial data and reporting. Familiarity with ERP systems or financial software. Interest in process improvement, or continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus. Learning Opportunities Exposure to corporate finance operations and financial reporting. Experience leading and participating in impactful business projects. Development of analytical, technical, and professional skills. Opportunity to collaborate with finance professionals and business partners globally. Opportunity to gain experience presenting business recommendations and project outcomes to senior leadership. Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other Microsoft Office applications preferred. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
