Paraplanner Location:
Newtown, PA Salary:
$90,000 to $105,000 (based on experience)

Who we are looking for We are excited to have an opportunity to welcome a Paraplanner to our team! We are looking for a Paraplanner with relevant industry experience and a dedicated client focus. This individual will support our advisors by creating and updating financial plans, pulling reports, preparing for meetings and client intake, and following up with clients. Success at six months means fully carrying out the role and taking pressure off our advisors, ensuring efficiency and staying proactive behind the scenes. Who you are The attributes that we look for in a Paraplanner include: Self-starter who shows initiative and is comfortable speaking up An independent thinker who knows their role within a team Accommodating to clients and teammates Sharp time management skills and dependable follow through Reads the room, retains training, and asks questions to stay efficient Decisive, moving forward without overanalyzing Smart and emotionally intelligent, putting clients first Meticulous attention to detail and a diligent work ethic Positive attitude, team player, humble, not ego driven Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with being strategic Desire to be a long-term contributing member of the team Trustworthiness, energy and enthusiasm What you can expect to do: Create and update financial plans, including initial input and revisions Pull client reports and weekly reports, and update client profiles Prepare meeting materials and client intake, including getting client data feeds before each meeting Work with the team's tools: RightCapital, Holistiplan, Nitrogen and Redtail Contribute to the overall client experience, escalating account or investment problems to the senior advisor as needed What you bring to the table :
Bachelor's Degree Professional Licenses:
Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) preferred, but not required. Insurance licenses are nice to have. There is no set time limit to obtain them, possibly up to three years. 3-5 years of industry experience required, as a paraplanner or a similar role Tax planning background is helpful, including working knowledge of personal income taxes, Roth conversions, and withdrawal strategies Working knowledge of the technology used in paraplanning If you are interested in being part of a great team that makes a lasting impression on our clients, we urge you to apply to learn more about what our firm offers.
