$70,000-$80,000 About the Role Our client is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join their accounting team in a fast-paced commodities environment. This role is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with invoices, payments, vendors, and multiple currencies. The Accounting Analyst will work closely with global accounting, financial reporting, and Treasury teams while supporting day-to-day accounts payable and accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Process global operating expense invoices across multiple currencies using an automated accounts payable system. Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and appropriate general ledger coding. Code disbursements based on the company chart of accounts, including allocation to cost centers, projects, and legal entities. Identify costs that should be capitalized versus expensed. Process payments, including check printing, ACH batches, and wire payments in both USD and foreign currencies. Coordinate with the global onboarding team to ensure vendors are properly set up and vendor information is accurate and maintained. Maintain vendor payment instructions and follow established procedures for payment instruction changes. Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account information. Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed. Collaborate with global financial reporting and Treasury teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger coding. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Why Consider This Opportunity?
