This position will include multiple elements of Sales and Finance (bookings, book to bill, trend analysis, pipeline analytics (and will engage with all levels of sales leadership and a variety of functions in support of driving efficiency in a large, dynamic team in the mindset of exciting growth. A key element of success for this role will be the ability to take large sets of data and reports, analyze, and provide insight, cause & effect, and key business indicators, while concisely presenting them to the organization for the purpose of influencing behaviors and business decisions. In addition, critical thinking and continuously challenging existing practices to drive impactful business results is expected. This position will play a key contributor role in the continued development of the sales operations team in the growth, responsibilities, and expanded contributions to the business. This role will support sales operations as a liaison to finance in responsibilities of monthly, quarterly, and year end close analysis, budgeting, and completion of bridge analysis as needed. The role will work to enhance the coordination of bookings forecast into the demand tools on a timely and accurate basis. What your background should look like:Responsibilities:
Support IBP booking forecasting and demand forecasting processes, including timing, input coordination, data validation, forecast upload support, and follow-up with commercial stakeholders. Support commitments (to customer) accuracy and bias analytics reporting Serve as the primary commercial point of contact to Commercial Finance for booking actuals, forecast reconciliation, bridge analysis, variance commentary, budget support, and monthly / quarterly / year-end close activities. Prepare and maintain booking bridge walks that explain movement from prior forecast, guidance, and actuals by region, customer, product family, program, market, opportunity, push-out / pull-in, and other relevant business drivers. Analyze bookings, forecast accuracy, bias, trend analysis, run-rate, pipeline sufficiency, conversion, and customer / segment performance to support sales leadership and operating cadences. Partner with sales leaders, account managers, regional commercial teams, demand planning, supply chain, product management, customer care, and finance to improve forecast discipline and strengthen linkage between commercial input and demand signals. Support standard MOS / cadence routines such as R&O calls, demand reviews, and forecast commitment meetings with clear analysis, pre-read material, summaries, and follow-up actions. Prepare and Support SIP (Sales Incentive Plans) in annual target setting and alignment with Commercial Finance. Utilize AI and support future enhancements to reports, process and tools incorporating AI enhancement capabilities. Maintain documentation, working instructions, reporting calendars, source-of-truth definitions, and reconciliation logic to support consistency, transparency, and cross-regional alignment.Qualifications:
6-8 years of related experience in sales operations, commercial analytics, finance, demand planning, business intelligence, or a related analytical function; bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Motivated individual able to learn quickly and work in a self-directed work environment with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of forecasting, pipeline management, booking / revenue metrics, commercial finance close processes, demand planning, andIBP / S&OP
concepts preferred Clear communicator who can summarize, write, speak, and present confidently to diverse audiences, including senior management, while acting as an internal consultant and thought partner. - Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $111,600-$139,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
