Remote Pre-Award Budget and Financial Analyst Employment Type:

6-month contract to hire, Remote Key Responsibilities Develop, analyze, and negotiate detailed clinical trial budgets for industry‑sponsored studies. Provide support for budgeting on investigator‑initiated studies as needed. Review study protocols to identify cost drivers and operational requirements. Collaborate with study teams, clinical departments, and external partners to validate budget assumptions. Communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders without financial backgrounds. Ensure alignment between budget components, study requirements, and contract terms. Maintain regular communication with study teams in a fully remote work environment. Additional Qualifications Minimum 3 years relevant experience; 5 years preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to explain financial data clearly to non‑financial teams Strong time‑management skills and ability to excel in a remote setting Comfortable interfacing frequently with study team. Location Requirements This is a fully remote position; however, candidates cannot reside in: Alaska (AK), California (CA), Connecticut (CT), Mississippi (MS), Missouri (MO), Montana (MT), Nevada (NV), New Mexico (NM), North Dakota (ND), South Dakota (SD), Wyoming (WY) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
