Job Description
Sr. Financial Analyst Our banking client is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic financial partner supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting and FP&A experience, sound judgment, and the ability to translate financial data into clear insights that support business decisions. This role is a hybrid model based in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Occasional in-office meetings are required, candidates must currently live in the State of Oregon. Sr. Financial Analyst Responsibilities Partner with business units and leadership to support forecasts, budgets, long-range financial plans, and strategic planning initiatives. Build financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate business initiatives, investment opportunities, trends, and financial performance. Develop, monitor, and report on key financial metrics, budget-to-actual results, variances, and actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and organizational performance. Support internal and external audits, regulatory exam preparation, compliance documentation, and resolution of audit or compliance findings. Collaborate with accounting and cross-functional teams, mentor staff as needed, and support process improvements that promote accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement. Sr. Financial Analyst Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is preferred. 3+ years' experience in financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling. Recent experience with a financial institution, bank, or credit union is preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. Power BI is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, explain complex financial information, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
