Garland TX, In office Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. This position will support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business decision-making in a high-volume, internet-based retail environment. The ideal candidate has strong accounting and analytical skills, hands-on NetSuite experience, and the ability to work with large volumes of financial and operational data. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and sales tax is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, management reports, and financial statements.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, financial models, and variance analyses .
- Compare actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods , identifying and explaining significant variances.
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting .
- Perform financial analysis to support management decision-making, business planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Use NetSuite to research transactions, analyze data, create reports, and maintain saved searches and dashboards.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, operating costs, cash flow, working capital, and other key financial metrics.
- Partner with Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Merchandising, and other departments to gather and analyze financial and operational information.
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, and ad hoc financial projects as needed, including quarterly actual vs budget analysis by department.
- Identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvements while maintaining accurate, well-documented financial analyses.
