Are you an energetic, curious, and intelligent Sr. Financial Analyst that loves manufacturing and can help us achieve our strategic goals? If so, then we want to hear from you. SeaCast is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company with several locations and business units. You'll work closely with all accounting personnel and levels of management. This position requires successful experience and solid working knowledge of financial statements and cost accounting principles and practices in a manufacturing environment. You will be involved with multiple levels of management to improve costing accuracy, financial statement preparation, and all planning cycles. Core Responsibilities Generate monthly statements highlighting actual financial result comparisons to our annual plan and provide insight on both favorable and unfavorable variances. Participate in annual/interim financial planning activities. Partner with Sales, Program Management, and Engineering to provide financial support/models for new and current pricing/quoting activities Perform detailed manufacturing cost variance analysis and implement system/process changes to improve cost accuracy. Develop financial and operational metrics providing performance results/insights to operations and management. Perform financial evaluations for capital improvements/expansions Ensure compliance with financial policies and maintain accuracy in reporting.
Credential/Trait Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Technical Discipline (i.e Engineering…)
- Master's Degree in Finance or MBA is a plus
- 2-3 years' + experience in a manufacturing company
- Experience with a sophisticated ERP system - Epicor ERP is ideal
- Excellent PC and MS Office skills
- High level of tenacity - always driving for improvements
- Make good decisions in a timely manner
- High degree of attention to detail, creative problem solving aptitude and awesome organizational skills
