Job Description

Position Overview Nordic Group of Companies is seeking a driven and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with 2+ years of experience who is ready to take the next step into a more strategic, insight-driven position. You will play a key role in supporting financial planning, multi-entity performance analysis, and KPI development across the organization. Working closely with the CFO and finance leadership, you will help transform financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This is a high-visibility role offering meaningful ownership, cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to leverage data analytics and AI tools in a modern finance environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Support and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and identify key performance drivers
  • Analyze financial and operational results to provide actionable insights
  • Build financial models to support decision-making and scenario planning
  • Partner with business leaders to understand performance and improve forecasting accuracy
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for senior leadership Business Metrics & Performance Insights
  • Build, maintain, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across business units
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that enhance visibility into performance
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial and operational data
  • Enhance how performance results are communicated across the organization
  • Leverage Power BI or similar tools to automate and visualize reporting Consolidation & Data Integrity
  • Assist with monthly multi-entity financial consolidations
  • Review intercompany activity and support accurate reconciliations
  • Partner with accounting teams to ensure consistent and reliable financial inputs
  • Support improvements to consolidation workflows and reporting accuracy Internal Audit & Controls
  • Support internal audit efforts for financial and operational areas
  • Help evaluate internal controls and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in risk assessments and follow-up on mitigation activities
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements Data Analytics and Process Improvement
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools to analyze and visualize data
  • Automate recurring analysis and streamline manual processes
  • Integrate data from ERP and other systems to improve reporting quality
  • Support the finance team's adoption of modern data and automation tools What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or a related role
  • Strong Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Experience with financial statements and performance analysis
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Self-starter comfortable with improving processes and taking ownership Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a multi-entity or multi-business environment
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with consolidation or reporting tools
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems and large datasets
