Bonus Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Our client, a growing manufacturing organization located in Kenosha, WI, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its accounting team. This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to take on a broad range of responsibilities spanning general accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and accounts receivable. Key Responsibilities General Accounting & Financial Analysis Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations Assist with monthly and year-end close activities Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation Assist with internal controls and audit requests Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information Accounts Receivable Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts Prepare and distribute customer invoices Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collection activities Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries Support credit memo processing and customer account maintenance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 2+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, or related experience Experience with journal entries, general ledger, account reconciliations, and month-end close Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience working with an ERP system Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or other B2B industry experience strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Collaborative, team-oriented work environment
