Job Description The incumbent acts as the primary point of contact for all matters related to international branches, including local fiscal, accounting, and regulatory requirements. This person gathers all necessary information to produce financial results, analyses, and compliance obligations related to air revenues and international operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong skills in process implementation and optimization, who is a CPA member, and who is looking to make a tangible impact by structuring and improving practices. Carries out all necessary steps to implement fiscal and accounting requirements in the various countries where Air Transat operates, including the setup or update of local obligations. Collaborates with the IT department to implement required electronic invoicing systems, ensuring compliance with government‑mandated standards in each jurisdiction. Supports local legal and tax representatives in the different countries to ensure ongoing compliance and effective communication. Ensures that Air Transat's business practices comply with the fiscal, accounting and regulatory requirements of the countries served. Coordinates all Finance‑related actions required for the launch of a new route, including fiscal, accounting, regulatory and operational obligations. Supports the Director, Air Revenue Control, in all internal and external audits. Supports and produces all ad hoc requests addressed to the sector. Performs all other related tasks. Qualifications Be a member of the CPA Order. Have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex financial environment. Hold a bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Have advanced proficiency in Excel (including Power Query and modelling) and excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools. Demonstrate strong knowledge of the SAP software. Have knowledge of the airline industry, Revenue Accounting, or interline/codeshare (an asset). Demonstrate strong organizational skills, autonomy, rigour, and attention to detail, along with effective time and priority management. Oral and written fluency in French and English
  • A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
