Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle to lead the revenue management operations across our two-hospital healthcare system. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial performance, optimize billing processes, and enhance revenue integrity within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Required Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience Proven experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding, insurance reimbursement, and compliance standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools. Ability to develop strategic initiatives and lead change management efforts. Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, CMS
guidelines, and payer policies.

This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. Normal hospital environment. Position requires normal of corrected eyesight, hearing within normal range, frequent walking, pushing wheelchairs up to 350 pounds, and sitting 50% of the time. Operates copiers, printers, and uses computer terminal; requires occasional lifting, stair climbing, and carrying up to 50 pounds; requires direct patient contact.
JOB SUMMARY
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, billing, coding, collections, and accounts receivable management across both hospitals. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve revenue cycle efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare regulations Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Collaborate with clinical, financial, and administrative teams to ensure seamless revenue flow and resolve billing or coding issues. Lead, mentor, and develop revenue cycle staff to ensure high levels of performance and professional growth. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing and coding regulations. Manage relationships with payers, vendors, and external partners to optimize reimbursement processes. ​​​​​​​ Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to executive leadership regarding revenue cycle performance and opportunities.
