• Manager, Cost Accounting
• The Cost Accounting Manager provides leadership and expertise to all Accounting and Finance activities related to cost accounting and product standards.

This individual plays a strategic role in the development of the Annual Operational Budget and will require superior analytical skills to drive value and promote innovation within the Finance organization. The position reports to the Director Finance Operations and has direct interaction with the Manufacturing Supply Chain and R D organizations. 1. Supports development of the Annual Operations Budget and ongoing forecasting activities 2. Manages annual product costing process to develop accurate standard costs, including materials, labor and overhead rates 3. Performs various plant accounting activities related to month-end close including; inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, absorption and spending analysis 4. Partners with Manufacturing Operations to develop and maintain accurate standard costs in conjunction with current and proposed BOM's 5. Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs for MicroVention U.S. and offshore manufacturing plants 6. Provides Costingtrends, actual cost, PPV trends 7. Prepares financial models and analysis to support management decision-making 8. Coordinates with IT on resolving any cost accounting related discrepancies in the ERP system 9. Supports procedures to ensure that costing and business practices are in compliance with internal policies, IFRS and

J-SOX 10.

Initiates and coordinates product cost reduction initiatives and system/business process improvements 11. Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization 12. 5-7 years' experience in Accounting or Finance, with emphasis on cost accounting, reporting, inventory and variance analysis, preferably in a Global Manufacturing environment 2. 1 to 2 years of team management experience. 3. Deep understanding and business knowledge of cost accounting and IFRS 4. Superior analytical skills 5. Excellent organizational and project coordination ability with acute attention to detail 6. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 7. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively 8. Successful experience working independently, effectively and confidently in a team environment 9. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience 10. Excellent MS Office skills; advanced Excel skills required Desired Qualifications 1. Medical Device industry experience 2.
