Job Description:
Corporate Accounting Manager Multi-location CPG manufacturer with serious expansion plans! Onsite in East San Fernando Valley The Accounting Manager will own the routine GL and month-end close, manage cost accounting, supervise Staff and Senior Accountants, and help build the accounting infrastructure needed for a fast-growing, multi-client operation. This position is for a high-potential, providing a pathway into broader accounting leadership. As the company is scaling rapidly, the Accounting Manager will have a meaningful role in developing the accounting organization needed to support that growth.
Responsibilities include:
Ownership of the monthly close, GL and intercompany balance sheet recs Implement/document GAAP controls and drive process improvements in financial reporting, cost accounting, and operational support Lead & develop Accounting team skills and encourage cross-training and automation Oversight of inventory/cycle counts/reconciliations & audits Prepare/review/present customer profitability analysis and reporting Collaborate closely with Operations on yield, waste and standard vs. actual cost variances
Your Background:
CPA or public company with exposure to product manufacturing/distribution, knowledge of full financial statements, cost accounting, inventory management, cloud-based ERP systems, and mentoring staff. Comfortable building processes during times of ambiguity and embracing technology and new systems. What makes the role interesting is the breadth . You are someone who enjoys process design-not simply maintaining the status quo. You will work closely with the Controller and CAO, have visibility across the organization and be positioned to stretch into new areas of career development and leadership as the company continues to scale. This is a genuine opportunity to be directly impactful in the buildout of the accounting infrastructure.
