This is a hands-on role supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, vendor accounting, and construction-related compliance documentation. This is a strong fit for someone with accounting experience in the construction industry who understands the documentation and payment processes unique to contractors and public works projects, including certified payroll reports and lien releases. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records Prepare and manage Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs) Track and process conditional and unconditional lien releases Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices and statements Maintain accurate vendor and subcontractor payment documentation Research and resolve invoice, statement, and payment discrepancies Maintain organized accounting and compliance records Coordinate with internal project and operations teams as needed Support additional day-to-day accounting functions and reporting Requirements Previous accounting experience within the construction industry strongly preferred Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable Experience processing payroll Familiarity with Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs) and prevailing wage/public works requirements preferred Experience handling lien releases and construction-related payment documentation Strong experience working with vendor invoices and statements Comfortable working within accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on accounting environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid holidays and PTO
