Job Description
Accounting Manager About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing the month-end close process, overseeing general ledger activities, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review financial statements and management reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors. Monitor internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities. Oversee cash flow management and balance sheet reconciliations. Partner with Finance and business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills Audit experience. Process automation and systems implementation experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
