Job Description

Robert Half is recruiting for a strong Nonprofit Accounting Manager/ Consultant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations and prepare financial statements in advance of upcoming Form 990 filings. This role will be onsite located in Pomona. CA.Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and timely accounting records in accordance with GAAP
  • Oversee general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close
  • Prepare financial statements and schedules supporting the Form 990
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting and reporting requirements
  • Document processes and support staff during the interim periodQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and Form 990 preparation support
  • Experience managing month‑end close and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with nonprofit accounting systems and Excel
