Job Description
The HIM Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing Health Information Management operations and developing processes and initiatives that improve Revenue Cycle performance across Arroyo Grande French Medical Center and Marian Regional Medical Center.
This role partners with HIM, Revenue Cycle, Coding, Clinical, and other operational teams to strengthen information management processes, improve data accuracy and integrity, reduce operational inefficiencies, and support timely and accurate reimbursement.
Develop and implement process improvements and operational initiatives designed to improve Revenue Cycle performance.
Analyze HIM and Revenue Cycle workflows to identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, documentation, coding, billing, and reimbursement outcomes.
Monitor operational performance, identify trends and barriers, and use data and reporting to drive measurable improvements.
Partner with Coding, CDI, Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Clinical, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues affecting financial performance.
Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, accessibility, and appropriate management of health information in accordance with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements.
Establish and monitor performance metrics, quality standards, productivity expectations, and process controls.

Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day HIM operational activities across multiple hospital locations, ensuring efficient workflows, quality, and regulatory compliance.Develop and implement process improvements and operational initiatives designed to improve Revenue Cycle performance.
