Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. Oversee general ledger activity across multiple entities and properties. Maintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Monitor property operating expenses and investigate budget variances. Asset Management Partnership Partner closely with Asset Managers to review property performance and operating results. Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning initiatives. Provide financial analysis supporting occupancy, revenue, NOI, and operating expense trends. Track and report capital expenditures and repair and maintenance spending. Property & Operations Support Collaborate with Property Management and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial data. Review CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and property-level reporting as applicable. Monitor cash activity, reserves, and investment-related reporting. Support operational decision-making through financial analysis and reporting. Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and processes. Assist with system enhancements and automation initiatives. Create scalable accounting procedures to support portfolio growth.
