Job Description

Join a Firm That Values Excellence Killian, Davis & Richter, PC is seeking CPA or an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the firm's accounting operations and provide strategic financial support to leadership. This position includes a comprehensive transition period with our current Accounting Manager. Position Summary Responsible for all accounting operations, banking, trust accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, employee benefits administration, and cash management. Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage cash flow, banking activities, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, and corporate credit cards.
  • Submit semi-monthly payroll to payroll subcontractor and administer benefits and PTO.
  • Manage trust accounting and personal injury client distributions.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and year-end tax workpapers.
  • Coordinate lines of credit and banking relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, tax form 1099, Workers' Compensation and Form 5500.
  • Maintain Accounting through companies software including, SmartAdvocate, iSolved, and Microsoft Office systems.
  • Produce financial reports and support firm leadership. Required Qualifications
  • CPA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Payroll and financial statement experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. Benefits

Compensation Salary:
