Opal Sands/Opal Sol two full service resorts in Clearwater Beach, Florida is in search of a highly motivated professional to join our team as an Accounting Manager. The resorts have 230 and 248 rooms and suites, currently 7 food and beverage outlets and each has a full service spa. Job Description The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two plus years of hands-on experience in a hotel accounting environment and a strong background in computerized hotel systems, to include front of the house in addition to back office systems. This position oversees and trains the accounting, and night audit positions. The Accounting Manager works in coordination with the corporate office on all aspects of hotel accounting, to include general ledger reconciliation, monthly and quarterly sales tax filing, monthly financials, balance sheet analysis and year-end closings.
