Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, compliance, and analysis to ensure sustainable growth and sound financial health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial management, and industry regulations, with a passion for strategic development and risk mitigation. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape financial strategies that support organizational goals while maintaining rigorous adherence to regulatory standards. Duties Lead the preparation and interpretation of comprehensive financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders. Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable processing, and cost control measures. Develop and maintain financial projection models to forecast revenue streams, expenses, and capital requirements aligned with strategic objectives. Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations such as IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and other relevant standards. Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, investment management, risk assessment, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity. Drive strategic planning initiatives by analyzing financial data using advanced data analytics tools to support decision-making processes. Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of reports in accordance with governmental and industry standards. Lead risk management efforts by identifying potential financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets. Supervise the finance team through effective leadership, mentorship, and performance management to foster a high-performing finance department. Collaborate with business development teams to evaluate new opportunities, prepare budgets, and support growth initiatives through detailed financial analysis. Experience Proven experience in financial management or finance directorship roles within complex organizations or non-profit sectors. Extensive knowledge of accounting systems, financial software applications, Excel data analysis techniques, and technical accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP. Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting, governmental accounting practices, cost accounting, revenue management, and fiscal management strategies. Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting models development, industry knowledge of financial regulations, and risk analysis methodologies. Experience managing finance teams with a focus on strategic management, budgeting processes, compliance oversight, and financial reporting excellence. Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and experience in implementing related policies is highly desirable. Ability to interpret complex financial concepts clearly for diverse audiences while maintaining attention to detail in all reporting activities.
