Job DescriptionA Full Service CPA Firm located in Pompano Beach, FL is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (Auditor). Reporting to the firm's management group, this position's primary responsibility is to take a lead role in the performance of review and compilation engagements for a broad range of clientele, as well as assisting in tax compliance needs. A senior accountant contributes to the success of the firm by working directly with management and partners to provide clients with high-quality service. Senior staff accountants have strong technical accounting skills and tax knowledge
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of accounting and tax experience in CPA firm settingKnowledge of construction accounting is big plus (WIP Schedules, CIP etc.)Experience with compilation and review of GAAP and OCBOA financial statementsExperience with Ultratax CS preferredStrong knowledge of assurance and accounting standards;Experience with Engagement Manager from Thompson Reuters required;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct financial statements compilation and review engagements according to GAAP and OCBOAManage engagements from start to completion including consulting directly with clientsPrepare engagement working papers, financial statements, and client correspondence;Prepare and review WIP and Percentage Completion Schedules for clients in the construction industry.

Preparation of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns including 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S and 1041.Work with other staff members to take on increasing responsibility and delivery of smaller projectsEnsure high-quality, timely delivery, and positive client experience for all projects.
