Duties Review and process medical claims using billing software, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission. Utilize

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

coding, and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications to code medical diagnoses and procedures accurately. Manage healthcare claims management by tracking claim status, following up on unpaid or denied claims, and resolving discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with medical offices to verify patient information, medical records, and insurance details for billing accuracy. Maintain comprehensive documentation of medical records, coding details, and collection efforts within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Communicate effectively with health insurance providers to resolve claim issues and ensure timely reimbursement. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries related to billing and payment processes. Requirements Must be experienced in Revenue Cycle management. Proven experience in medical billing, coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare claims management. Strong knowledge of DRG systems, medical terminology, and health insurance policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with billing software and EMR/EHR systems. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review complex medical records accurately. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, providers, and insurance companies. Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is preferred.
