Full Job Description Description:
The F&I Job That Gives You Your Life Back If you're a Finance Manager tired of 9pm deliveries, bell-to-bell Saturdays, and living at the dealership — this is the role you've been waiting for. Commercial truck finance runs on business hours, because our customers are business owners who work them too.

Elmhurst Ford operates one of the highest-volume Ford commercial truck centers in the region. We're hiring a dedicated Finance Manager for our Truck Center — a unique position where your customers are contractors, fleet operators, municipalities, and business owners, not first-time buyers grinding you on payment. What Makes This Role Different Balance is real here. Commercial customers buy during business hours. You'll work a schedule that lets you have a life outside the store. A different caliber of customer. You'll be structuring deals for business owners and high-net-worth individuals — people who value expertise, speed, and straight talk. Real volume, real product opportunity. Super Duty, chassis cabs, Transit fleets, upfits — big-ticket units where protection products genuinely matter and where most stores leave money on the table.
Requirements:
What You'll Do Structure and close commercial and consumer financing on new and pre-owned trucks — retail, commercial lines, fleet, and municipal deals Convert cash and outside-financed buyers into financed deals by demonstrating real value, not pressure Present and sell F&I products (VSC, GAP, protection products) to customers who walked in not planning to spend a dollar more — and leave glad they did Build relationships with commercial lenders, Ford Pro Credit / Ford Motor Credit, and local banks to get tough deals bought Keep paperwork airtight: funding packages, titling, commercial documentation, and compliance done right the first time Partner with our commercial sales team to structure deals upfront so they close clean Who We're Looking For Proven F&I experience with strong product penetration and per-copy numbers Someone who knows how to talk to business owners — you understand cash flow, Section 179, business credit, and how a contractor thinks about a truck as a tool, not a toy Ford experience is a plus. Backgrounds in RV or powersports F&I translate extremely well here — big-ticket units, discretionary buyers, product-heavy deals Knowledge of heavy-duty and commercial trucks (F-250 through F-600, chassis cabs, Transit, upfits) is highly valuable Detail-obsessed on paperwork — clean funding, fast CIT, zero compliance shortcuts Self-starter who can own a department, not just work a rotation Please Read Before Applying This is an advanced position for a true Finance and Sales professional — not an entry point into F&I and not a stepping stone. We are looking for a proven producer with a track record of stability and results. Candidates with limited F&I experience, or a resume that shows a new store every year, will not be considered. If you've built a career on doing this job at a high level and staying where you're valued, we want to talk to you. What We Offer Aggressive, performance-based pay plan with real earning potential on high-gross commercial units A schedule built around commercial business hours — bring some balance back into your life Dedicated department with a loyal, repeat commercial customer base Health benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and factory training A growing, hands-on ownership group that invests in its people About Us Elmhurst Ford and the Ford Truck Center serve the western Chicago suburbs from Bensenville, IL. We're a high-volume operation with a straightforward philosophy: take care of the customer, do the paperwork right, and win on repeat business. Ready to sell trucks to people who actually need them — and go home at a reasonable hour? Apply with your resume, or stop by and ask for a manager. Elmhurst Ford is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual
