Full-Time | On-Site | $110,000-$140,000 1st Ayd is a growing, family-owned B2B distributor serving manufacturers and food processors nationwide. We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Accounting Manager who can help run our day-to-day accounting function and grow into our Controller role i n the coming years. Responsibilities Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, AP and AR Help prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting Support cash management, inventory accounting, budgeting and forecasting Improve accounting processes, controls and documentation Work with ownership, our experienced part-time Controller and other departments Help upgrade our ERP system and modernize accounting workflows Use automation, AI tools, Excel and other technology to reduce manual work Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong GAAP, month-end close and financial statement experience Strong Excel and ERP/accounting-system skills Hands-on, analytical and detail-oriented Comfortable managing others while still doing accounting work Interested in technology, automation and AI Distribution, manufacturing or inventory-accounting experience is a plus CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits $110,000-$140,000 salary , depending on experience UnitedHealthcare medical insurance; 1st Ayd pays 80% of employee premium 401(k) 2 weeks PTO, increasing with tenure Monday-Friday schedule Clear advancement path to Controller We are looking for someone ambitious, technologically curious and ready to take on increasing responsibility in a growing privately held business.
