Accounting Manager

A client of ours in the automotive manufacturing industry located in Georgetown, KY is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This position oversees the integrity of the company s financial operations. This role is a blend of high-level strategy-performing variance analysis and tracking key business initiatives-and hands-on leadership, including the daily management of the accounting department and the maintenance of all financial records. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary:

BachelorsResponsibilities Collaborate on the development of the annual budget. Lead monthly trend analyses to evaluate actual performance against budgetary goals. Assess the ROI and effectiveness of sales and marketing expenditures. Supervise and participate in the full month-end close cycle. Manage essential accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, and monthly inventory adjustments. Maintain and optimize departmental reporting structures. Oversee the sales tax nexus and the preparation of annual IRS filings. Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. Ensure a safe working environment by proactively addressing and correcting any unsafe conditions or behaviors. Direct the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of accounting staff. Foster a high-performance culture through constructive, timely performance evaluations.
