Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize our healthcare billing and revenue cycle processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of hospital revenue cycle management, medical billing regulations, and health insurance policies. As a key leader within our organization, you will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while driving efficiency in billing operations, coding accuracy, and accounts receivable management. Responsibilities Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including patient registration, billing, collections, and accounts receivable management. Ensure compliance with medical billing regulations, Medicaid regulations, Medicare regulations, and other relevant healthcare policies. Manage the use of billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline operations and improve data accuracy. Supervise billing staff, providing leadership, training, and mentorship to foster a high-performing team. Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure accurate medical coding, including ICD coding, to facilitate proper reimbursement. Monitor key performance indicators related to revenue cycle efficiency and implement process improvements as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare billing management practices and insurance third-party billing procedures to maximize revenue collection. Experience Proven experience in hospital revenue cycle management or healthcare billing management within a clinical setting. Strong understanding of medical billing regulations compliance, including Medicaid and Medicare policies. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience working with various billing software platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Knowledge of healthcare insurance policies, medical coding (ICD coding), and medical billing procedures is essential. Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle optimization strategies to enhance cash flow and reduce denials. Pay:
$60,777.00 - $80,163.00 per year
