Job Description:
Our firm has been engaged by a growing luxury home builder seeking an Accounting Manager who will lead the accounting function, and supervise a small team. Candidates should be strong accountants, and fully able to manage a monthly financial close. This is a fully in office position that reports directly to the CFO. The company culture is excellent and the right candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their abilities in this role. Desired base salary compensation is $110-$125k, plus annual cash bonus and great benefits. Our client would consider modest stretch for candidates with industry experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, including Accounts Payable and payroll functions. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Prepare financial packages, loan presentations, and reporting for lenders, investors, and business partners. Manage banking relationships, debt and equity financing activities, and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements. Coordinate annual audits, tax preparation, insurance programs, and accounting system administration. Partner with executive leadership to support land acquisitions, project feasibility analysis, budgeting, and cost control across residential developments.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years accounting experience Leadership/supervision experience Multi-entity and consolidation experience preferred but not required
