Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and upbeat person to work at our front desk/reception. As the receptionist, you will be the face of the company and give the first impression our clients experience. It will be your foremost responsibility to greet all incoming clients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner. You will be required to stand on your feet for the better part of your shift. And of course, you must love dogs! Applicant should have good organization skills and be able to multi-task. Answer phone calls in a friendly and polite manner and provide appropriate responses to customers' inquiries. Schedule boarding reservations and input them into the computer. Be able to follow directions and use a computer software program to track customers' activities. Receive payments, record receipts for services, and handle and reconcile all petty cash daily. Take and resolve complaints from customers, being positive to negative crticism. Light cleaning; front lobby, bathroom, vacuuming, and mopping. Checking in dogs who are boarding, going over the boarding contract and taking information regarding feeding and/or medications. Preparing food and medications. Some handling of the dogs during busy times of the day, check-in and check-out. Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and answering email.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
